It is good to see progress being made in the case of these attacks. Perhaps now my parents will calm down a little bit, although I never truly understood their paranoia in the first place.
Things have been terribly boring here of late, more so than usual. I do enjoy the wedding preparations, naturally, but too many catalogues make even my eyes cross. Sometimes I can understand why some people want to work even though they don't have to; it would be something to do.
I do still consider moving out sometimes, but I do not know if my parents could cope without me. And Mephistopheles does take cold so easily, what if I had a flat with poor heating? It would be a catastrophe. So all in all I think perhaps I am best off where I am. It's only that I wish I could go, and sometimes I think Lucius wants to propose but sometimes I think he doesn't and
I must go prepare for tea.

TERRORIST SUSPECTS FINALLY IN CUSTODY
Just when it seemed as though the terrorists behind the destruction of St. Paul's Cathedral, King's Cross Station, Harod's Department story, and Big Ben would get away, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Magic revealed today that three suspects were brought into custody late Thursday night and have been interrogated several times since then. The catastrophic events of the previous months are all known to be linked by the same symbol in the sky above them: a snake protruding from the mouth of a skull. The spokesperson also told the Prophet that the Aurors in charge of the interrogations were recently allowed the use of Veritaserum on the suspects, as none of three had divulged any useful information.
The three suspects were captured in the act, just before midnight on Thursday night. They were reportedly going to attempt to burn Muggle houses in Sussex when they were caught. The plot was uncovered by Auror Evelyn Nott, whose career will surely benefit from such an important case.
The names and ages of the three suspects have not been released, due to the sensitive nature of the case, they are reported to be all Ministry employees.

The spring thaw, that time of year when things are all slushy, but it's still cold. When you can see little pieces of green grass starting to poke through all that winter sludge, and give you that little hope that it will be warm again. I love that time of year, because it's hope honestly. I know we're long past all that, but it's still cold enough where we can warm jumpers, and coats.
I love spring, I put on my new wellies, they're just lovely. Bright kelly green, with little frog faces on the toes. I put them on, and I jump in the puddles, getting my new fair isle knee socks all soaking, and dirty. I have an umbrella with a rainbow on it, and I love to twirl around in the rain. I don't mind the rainy weather, it's just as pretty as the sun.
My parents promised me of my exam scores were good at the end of the school year, I could get a new pet. I want a duck, and I want to name him Googles. That's a very ducklike name really.
It's very lovely out tonight, perfect for star gazing.

Hello!
Here's Chantal with a third character: Elaine Parkinson, Hufflepuff 5th year and Caitriona MacDougal's BFF. Elaine loves animal more than human. She's very reserved and doesn’t care much about people and their problems. Except Caitriona, her best friend, to whom she's very loyal. She's bored with the feud but will still always stand by her side against Gladys.
She takes care of injured animals, both at home during hols and at school where she convinced the groundkeeper to let her help him with those tasks. She wants to open a magical shelter, sort of veterinary clinic for magical creatures, once she graduates.
